Make a Matching Sidebar Navigation

As you can see I have a navigation on my sidebar that matches the links you see in blogs (categories) and video (channels) apps. Just look at my sidebar, you'll see how the Navigation matches the Categories peorfectly, like it was meant to be...


Well, it wasn't. And this doesn't just "happen" on it's own. But I'm not going to make you work for it, I am just going to give you the code, but you will have to change it to add in your own links/text to make your own nav bar. Enjoy:


.1 First make a new sidebar moduel named Navigation.


.2 Then press <> and paste in this code:


<ul style="margin: 5px 0pt 0pt ! important; padding: 0pt ! important; list-style-type: none;">
<li class="sidebarCategory" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted; margin: 0pt 0pt 5px; padding: 0pt 0pt 5px 10px;">
<a href="link-here">Link Textr</a>
</li>
</ul>


.3 Press <> once more and save it.

How can i make the navigation links horizontal rather than vertical on my web-page (www.alejandrocerdena.com) . much help would be appreciate it thank you . smile

I love this website! I have one qustion though! In the address bar you have a penguin how can I make a picture appear in my address bar?

You can change your site icon by going to http://www.unonic.com/ (copy & paste link into address bar) It gives you a 'favicon', as it's called, AND a free domain name. It's very cool.

He's not editing his site using site builders. He's using it in an HTML editor. It's for advanced people. Site builders are for noobs..

This is great but its not very flashy like a normal nav bar do you have any css code to make it look better.

Hey when I tried to put it into my sidebar module the only thing the would come up on my website was Text Linkr? Do you have any advice?

is there a way to place this side bar on the opposite end of the sidebar? Or will it always go where the side bar is? Thanks-

How can I resize my sitebar? I use a ready made premium template in my website at webs.com (it is "Swerly", with side bar on the left side). Then I manage it with the Sidebar menu provided in the Webs Site Designer. I try to put on some widgets like Google Search or The Weather Channel, but those widgets appear wider than the margin of my sidebar. How can I shrink the widgets to fit my sidebar, or on the contrary, how can I resize my sidebar to fit the widgets? Thanks.
