This is your change to win a the "Starter" premium package for one year by designing and coding custom template for webs! It's as simple as designing a template, uploading the images/css to your server, and PMing the link to the CSS file and the instructions to me. If you get chosen, you will be awarded with one year free of the "Starter" premium package and a spot light here on SnedekerDesignz. This is a once-in-a-life-time-change, so get designing!

First Place Winner:
Will be featured on SnedekerDesignz.webs.com and have their template featured on the downloads page and be given one free year of "Starter" premium pack.

Second Place Winner:
Will be featured on SnedekerDesignz.webs.com and have their template featured on the downloads page.

Third Place Winner:
Will be featured on SnedekerDesignz.webs.com and have their template featured on the downloads page.

How to Enter:

  1. Make a free account or log into SnedekerDesignz Customizations.
  2. In order for us to test your template, you have to send us the code. E-mail it to info@snedekerdesignz.com or PM it to SnedekerDesignz. You must host the images for testing until the event is over. If you win we will contact you via PM or E-mail and we will request the images and the rest of the required files.
  3. You must also inform us what template you used when started coding (it should be the "Blank CSS" template). If you do not we can not test your template.
  4. You may submit as many templates as you want to.

Deadline:

The contest ends June 1st, the begining of summer vacation for some of you. This gives you a few months to make your template (and for those of you who need to learn CSS first).

Terms & Conditions:

  1. By submitting your template, you are giving SnedekerDesignz.webs full rights to it. We are allowed to upload it to our website for public download. We have the rights to cancel the contest at any time.
  2. We are not responsible for any problems you have with your "Starter" premium package. We are a non-official website and are not affiliated with Webs "officially". Webs.com has been kind enough to grant the winner a free year of the "Starter" premium package to thw winner, and if you have any problems you must contact them. You can expect the upgrade within two weeks of the end of the event.
  3. The winner must include their full name and e-mail address (which will be kept private). If you are the winner your name and template will be featured (and your website if it is appropriate by our standards) on our homepage and you will be contacted by PM.
  4. Your template must be your work. You may not use any other people's templates unless you have permission (i.e. written permission or the licensing on the template gives you permission). If you use images you must make sure they are not copyrighted (i.e. you can not search Google or take images off of photo sites unless they have a non-commercial license). If the photo you are using asks for credit, please inform us.
  5. If your template includes ANY inappropriate content and/or is broken (not browser compatible, messed up, etc) it will be disqualified.

Just to make sure, you're only allowed to make 1 template, right?
Because I wasn't sure what "You may submit as many templates as you want to" meant...

You can submit as many as you want :P You can submit 200 but if someone else submits one that is better they win, so the number of templates you submit won't help you win.

LOL. NO! Im using it on my site right now! It's compatible with Safari 3, FF 3+, and Chrome. The rest render it wrong, but still show it somewhat.
Adam: lots of sites have it... http://css3.info/

You don't need HTML at all, but the CSS has to look good in Firefox and IE7+.

Also...i created a template tht uses 3 colums like the midnight multicolor fw template but fw forced a box ad in the side bar tht is wider then the sidebar...is there anyway around tht? im currently just putting the display:none; code but i know tht isnt allowed in freewebs =\

You can do

overflow: hidden;

That way anything that overflows the sidebar is hidden.
